This year is about the vows we make to ourselves. Join us and become a "Mystery". Mystery School is an intentional community, a community that forms around an intention. Our core agreement is respect: respect for life, for choice, for each other and our differences. We come from different religious backgrounds. We practice different spiritual paths. What makes us the same? Our agreement to respect those differences and work together, our willingness to share the struggle to become fully who we are, and to create healthy, effective relationships. Mystery School work is mythological rather than theological. Together, we will step into a great story, a story that is larger than our personal experience and more timeless than our personal past. Such a story invites us to re-create our likely future. Each weekend begins by connecting with the land, the story and each other. The unique "magic" of the moment asks you to open to the sacred in the world around you, within you, and within those with whom you are sharing the day. Monthly packets present the myth and the mythic work. They invite you to step into self-discovery and self-creation. Individually and together, we take a journey into the world of possibility. Mystery School 2009 will give you many ways to participate. Email discussion groups, online classes, weekend intensives - and this year we plan to expand our online offerings and opportunities. Your Mystery School experience might be complete with packets and email, but we hope you will join us and bring your own magic onto the land. To help make your gas expenditure worthwhile, we are offering more four-day intensives this year.
