Personal Growth: Mystery School

Make a vow to your greater self and your spiritual development. Commit to all six Mystery School weekends at the package price (20% or more discount). You can pay for the program in full or you can make ten monthly payments (February - November). Refunds are not available for missed events, but you can substitute an event from any of the other programs. You will have plenty of opportunities to fulfill your vow. Opening Mystery School (Jan 16-18): Agreements we make before birth, Atalanta's story began before she was born. It began when her father wanted only a boy and she decided to be a girl. All of our stories begin before we enter life. Did you agree to enter this time in history, to be here for the changes that are shaping our world? This and other aspects of the story – Invoking Artemis and building a bed with prayers, promises, treasures and tears – will be the work of the weekend.

March Mystery School (March 12-15): Coming home to myself. Discovered by hunters, Atalanta returns to the village. What happens when you life a life that isn't yours? Have you tried to live in values that don't really feed your spirit? This weekend will focus on claiming yourself and living in right relationship with your family, work place or spiritual community.

May Intensive (May 23-30): Meleager's mother, a witch, lays the log of his life on the fire. This week we’ll re-tell the first half of the year’s story. Our work will focus on victory and it’s price, what it takes to defy convention and live in accordance with the vows we make to o urselves. Will you lay the log of your life on the witch’s fire?

July Mystery School (July 23-26): Atalanta makes a bargain she is sure no one will accept... but they do. Spider, spider, when are trapped in our own web? What is the price of not saying “No”? What is the price of not saying “Yes”?

The Priestess Intensive (Sept 3-6): This weekend is dedicated to ritual arts and the presentation skills. Basic techniques, philosophies of leadership, and creating mythic experiences for others are the focus of the weekend. Where are we in the story? It is a long night. What are the dreams one dreams before dying? Tomorrow's race will cost Hippomenes his life, or Atalanta her soul.

Rites of Passage (Oct 16-18): The race and the golden apples. Catch fate and hold it in your hands. This weekend celebrates the work done by a group of people who dedicated their year to learning, growing, and serving our community – the Rites Team. On Saturday night, they will live the story to its conclusion in a community-created initiation ritual that, for many, is the highlight of the year.

Closing Mystery School (Nov 6-8): Shapeshifting, shapeshifting... nothing is at it seems to be. Pride, power and embodying freedom, what can I say – that is how the story ends. Our concluding weekend is an affirmation of life, love and holding true to the vows we make to ourselves, one last chance to come together in the arms of this story, and bring this year to a close.
